FIA detains doctor after nurse exposes him for sending ‘explicit’ videos

FIA detains doctor for 'blackmailing' and harassing women by sending them explicit videos

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has detained a doctor for harassing and blackmailing women.

A doctor of Jinnah Hospital in Lahore was put into custody for allegedly blackmailing women with their photos and videos of private nature.

Blackmailing and harassment

One of his victims is a nurse at the same hospital. She lodged a formal complaint with the FIA. The nurse claimed that Dr. Abdullah Haris had recorded ‘intimate’ videos of her while the two were in a relationship. She then said that he had been asking her to have an ‘illicit’ relationship with him. To pressurize her into it, he also sent her private pictures and photos to her associates.

The FIA then set up a trap to arrest the accused, and the doctor was detained from a restaurant in the Gulberg area. He was called by the nurse to ‘meet’ there, as a part of her plan with the FIA.

According to sources, explicit videos of approximately 50 women have been found on the doctor’s phone. He was also accused of cheating on many women on the pretext of ‘marriage’.

During the inquiry, the complainant also provided her phone as evidence. This confirmed that the doctor had sent her videos on WhatsApp.
