GROUND-BREAKING: Pakistani Government announces to award stipend to the mothers with newborn babies!

In an exciting new development, the federal government has decided to give a stipend to mothers of newborn babies for 2 years.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Dr. Sania Nishtar, said in a press conference that if a baby boy is born, the mother will be paid around Rs. 1500 and if a girl is born, the mother will be given Rs.2000.

Malnutrition and Stunting

She also informed that a special program on malnutrition is going to be launched to help children suffering, who are also at the risk of weight loss and short stature along with a reduced mental capacity of children. Due to this decreased mental ability, the children are not able to play an active role in the betterment of the country and suffer in countless ways.

In a tweet, she told that ‘this was one of the 33 centers of EhsaasNashonuma, the new Ehsaas nutrition, and health conditional cash transfer program.’ She also mentioned that ‘District Upper Dir is one of the 9 Districts where this program is commencing and that it is one of the 6 centers in District Upper Dir.’

She also mentioned that the government has given priority to ‘children’s issues’ and launched a program on them. The prime minister made it clear that this will be their priority.

Dr. Sania said that since ‘Ehsaas development’ is starting, Ehsaas education will soon as well. The program is designed and experts are consistently working on it. Moreover, the emphasis on the nutrition of pregnant women will be made in this program.

    1500/baby boy & 2000/baby girl, thats a joke. On other hand prices of per bag of flour is increased to 1400 in upper dir. General relief is needed immediately. These “shows” only looks good to ppl NOT affected by hike in atta prices
