Selena Gomez has shared the secrets behind her flawless skin as a celebration of the launch of her makeup line, ‘Rare Beauty’.
Selena Gomez has been everybody’s favorite at one point in their lives. From Wizards of Waverly Place to her songs, we have been together through it all. And well along with being an actor/singer/producer, she is now an ‘entrepreneur’ as well. She launched her own beauty line named ‘Rare Beauty’.
Selena says that she didn’t realize in her early and young years how essential skincare is, however, now she does. She shared the secrets behind her beautiful skin in a video to Vogue.
She has a combination skin, dry in some areas while oily in the T-zone.
Here’s what Selena shared with the public
Selena Starts off with a ‘soothing foam cleanser’
In the singer’s video, she starts up by washing her bare face with a foam cleanser. Since she has combination skin, she makes sure that the skin gets whatever it requires in the right areas. She also shared how she had acne in her T-zone.
Then comes the turn of Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Moisturizer
Gomez described the moisturizer as ‘thick and yummy’. Using a moisturizer sure is important to give the skin the required hydration and moisture that it needs. For Selena, whose skin is dry in some parts, she acknowledges it and realizes how she needs a moisturizer to replenish the skin. Tatcha’s moisturizer is her perfect go.
Last but not the least, is the sunscreen
Selena’s go-to sunscreen is ‘Drunk Elephant’s Umbra Sheer Sunscreen’ with an SPF 30. She shared how a sunscreen holds importance for her because being in the sun is quite tough for her since she suffers from Lupus. Wearing a sunscreen, therefore, gives her skin the required protection from the UV rays that could harm the skin.
She topped off everything by using her own line’s foundation and concealer. She uses her own items to create a good dramatic eye look and prepares her face, giving a trial of her products.
