3 Easy Looks For Wedding Season If You Are Not a Pro At Makeup!

You know it’s wedding season when – well – perhaps you are reading through an article like this one! Shaadi season in Pakistan is fancy. With all the excitement, a woman MUST radiate all the glitter too (it is M.A.N.D.A.T.O.R.Y).

BUT – there is one thing about it which levies a lot of pressure – THE PERFECT MAKEUP LOOK. Back in 2014, when I was kind of letting go off my tomboy-ish vibe, I started developing interest in makeup because I didn’t wanted to knock at the parlour’s door and spend my pocket money on it every single time.

????? ? ????? ??? ???

If you are someone who is still learning the process and experimenting new things, ”going with the flow” for an event is probably the worst idea. You need to put together the entire look and plan it inside your head.

So we have put together some VERY easy looks, that you can literally exactly replicate and stand out in the event. Want to know how to do it? WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!

Might look very tricky and ‘pro-like’ in first look, but this literally took 15 minutes. The key? This one effortless poduct! You must invest in Colourpop Supernova Eyeshadows!

The shadows cost around Rs. 1200-1500 and are for sure an invetsment worth the hype!

They are water infused, extremely glittery and you only literally need ONE SWIPE! Investing in the product means you now only need to add a soft brown transition shade in the list and apply these all over your lid. Here, you are ready to steal the spotlight!

I paired the shade Moonlit, which is a gorgeous purple with pink and silver silver glitters, with a peachy nude lip. I did add a thin liner and lashes here but even with just the liquid shadow and thick mascara, it will definitely stand out and make you look like a pro!

Look number two is definitely an old classic: winged liner with a bold red lip – but with a twist!

Now, winged liner is something that even the pros struggle with. Whenever I plan to go for it, I literally set aside30 minutes for it.

So I can only imagine how much it will haunt a beginner. I have been there. BUT, we have a little hack!!

Simply use scotch tape, or if you find it harsh to, use a sticky bookmark and apply it on the ends of both eyes evenly.

Now take a matte black eyeshadow, kajal, whatever you have at hand and apply. When you take the tape off, you will see a very defined, smokey, aesthetic liner look.

Apply a brown eyeshadow as transition shade and pair it with a bold red lip! Here, you are all ready to rock the event with the classic, vintage look!

Honestly, this is by far the easiest styling idea but looks so sleek and polished. Shift your entire focus to glowy skin, making it look like ‘THIS IS THE LOOK I WAS GOING FOR’!

Start your routine with a face oil preferably or a glowing moisturiser. Here are a few products that I love for the look.

I start my routine with this product. It has tiny glitter particles which give a very healthy and soft glow.

I use this before my foundation. I use it at the high points of my cheeks and then use Maybelline Fit Me foundation! The glow peaks through and looks like you are naturally radiant hehe.

Add a soft highlighter, put some in your inner corners and use a glossy lip to finish the look. Your glowy skin will definitely get you a lot of compliments and going for a smooth, natural look on a Pakistani wedding among the heavy embellishes will definitely stand you out!
