Blackheads are basically tiny bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. Needless to say, they are also the most annoying concern of any woman.
Not only does their appearance makes your skin look extremely unflattering, but you do also struggle with even application of makeup – and ain’t nobody wants it, especially as the wedding season approaches.
While there are tonnes of stripes and masks available out there to fulfill the purpose, we stumbled on this really easy and convenient DIY face mask made of ingredients available inside your kitchen cabinet.

The mask is super easy. All you need is following three easily available ingredients
✮ 1 tablespoon of baking soda
✮ 1 tablespoon of honey
✮ 2 tablespoons of salt.
Just like the ingredient list, the method is quite simple as well. All you need to do is just mix all three ingredients (baking soda, honey, salt), form a thick paste and apply it on the areas with blackheads.
❥ Mix all three ingredients and form a thick paste. Make sure it is not watery or runny.
❥ Now apply the paste on the affected area.
❥ Leave it on for five minutes. Now rinse off with warm water.

Now perhaps to the most important question: was this super easy DIY super effective as well? Well, yes, it was!
I initially was skeptical about it because I have extremely sensitive skin and honey breaks me out. But, to my surprise, the final results blew me away.
After leaving it on my nose for good five minutes, I used my silicon face pad to exfoliate and simultaneously rinsing it with lukewarm water as well.
It was slightly hard to take off due to thick honey paste. Honey has properties of a clarifying agent because it naturally opens up pores, making them easier to unclog. Baking soda has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and salt is a soft, natural exfoliant.
The combo worked amazing on my sensitive skin, and I will definitely use it – again and again.
Pictures speak louder than the text (hehe). Photo two, taken in raw white light, shows that my nose area looks extremely smooth with little to no visible appearance of blackheads.
It looks super smooth and polished, a finished look you would only expect after some $80 mask. I did not notice any reddishness or any skin bumps, which usually I get after trying something that doesn’t compliment my skin.
『Does it work? Well, it definitely surpassed my expectations.
『 Will I try it again? O F C O U R S E.
『 Will I recommend it? YES!
