One of the most adored couples of the industry, Zara Noor and Asad Siddiqui was recently invited to Time Out with Ahsan Khan. The couple spoke on several topics including the criticism that they received for the drama serial Zebaish in which the two were seen sharing screens.
While talking about the drama for which Zara’s acting was specifically made a target of negative criticism, the actress revealed that she worked hard and started focusing on ‘herself’ after the comments.
Zara, being Bushra Ansari’s niece and Asad the nephew of actor Adnan Siddiqui, are often dragged when the public talks about ‘nepotism’ in the entertainment industry. The two shed light on the topic in the show saying that ‘sifaarish’ can only get you through the door. However, surviving in the industry is dependent on one’s own acting skills. If a person having links is not acting well enough then the public has the right to criticize them.
Asad also revealed that he did his first show without even letting his uncle now.
The couple also talked about how dramas on the same topics are made again and again and instead of talking about something that’s actually beneficial for people, the same content is dragged.
