Scriptwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar shares his views on Aurat March and Feminism. The writer in a recent clip was seen giving tips to women on how to ‘handle’ their mard.
Khalil-Ur-Rehman is known as one of the most polarizing figures in the Pakistani media industry. Numerous are fans of his works like Pyaray Afzal and Mere Pass Tum Ho. However, on the other hand, some disagree with his point of view. Khalil’s thoughts on certain issues are considered straight away problematic.

One of the topics for which he is criticized is his views on feminism. His famous drama Mere Pass Tum Ho, although liked by many, received critique for the same reasons.
Recently, the scriptwriter was seen outside the press event for Mahira Khan’s Baarwan Khiladi. He was asked to give a message to the people who would be attending Aurat March this year. But instead of giving a message to those who would be a part of the march, the writer gave tips to women on ‘how to handle a man.’
In the clip, Khalil says that he is an advocate of women’s rights. ‘I want to see girls fly but within limits,’ he added. Talking more about the limits, Rehman says that women should not make men ‘insecure.’
He proceeded to speak on the topic by telling the journalist that ‘men would be men.’ He believes that women should not expect men to correct their behavior. Finally, he concludes the discussion by telling women to make it their habit to forgive men for their mistakes as men will be men.
The public is calling out Khalil-Ur-Rehman for his views. People believe his mentality is straight away problematic. A vast majority is also pointing out him ‘smoking’ in the video.
