Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari recently got married to a UAE-based business tycoon, Mahmood Chaudhry.
Bakhtawar’s wedding dress was a much-hyped one as it was an exquisite gold and ivory piece and looked absolutely mesmerizing on her, but the dress gained popularity when rumors about the bride’s dress having gold and diamond embellishments went viral. Although people were still debating whether this is true, Bakhtawar or the designer behind the dress didn’t say anything about it until recently.
It was revealed that the bride’s gorgeous dress was by the designer Wardha Saleem. In an interview with a well-reputed media outlet, the designer told the public that the bride decided on wearing a ‘sapphire piece’ from her late mother, Benazir Bhutto’s jewelry. For this reason, blue tones were also incorporated in the dress to complement the accessories.
It was also said that Bakhtawar wanted a Sindhi designer to make the dress for her special day. Moreover, 45 artisans worked for 7-months and in double-shits for 3-months to complete the bride’s dream dress. Addressing the hype and rumors of gold and diamond embellishments on the dress, the designer spilled the beans saying that there were no chains of gold or diamonds on the dress.
