Actor Faysal Qureshi has revealed why he prefers working with younger actresses. The actor believes that until the actresses aren’t married, they are normal.
Faysal appeared in an interview recently with Madiha Imam. The actor upon being questioned revealed why he works with younger actresses. He said that the industry took a ‘turn’ when the age gap between co-stars became an issue. According to the actor, it is hard to work with married actresses.
The Bashar Momin actor said that many actresses who get married invest time in bringing up their children. He said that they can not focus on the work because they are keeping a check on their kids even on the sets. ‘It is difficult for girls as they have more responsibilities,’ he added.
Qureshi also said how homes are actually being run by women and not men. ‘They look after the home and work at the same time,’ he said further. Quoting an example of his own personal experience, he said that he was working with Sunita Marshall recently. ‘I always found her worried about her kids on the set,’ he said. He said that he experienced the same with Shaista.
According to Faysal, Shaista herself agreed that she has a hard time focusing on work because her kids are always on her mind. He concluded by mentioning how the Suno Chanda star, Iqra Aziz has stopped acting after her baby. ‘I asked her what the issue is and she said that what can I do? I have to look after the baby,’ he said stating Iqra. ‘On the other hand, Yasir (Iqra’s husband) is constantly acting,’ he concluded.
