Saheefa Jabbar Khattak thinks Ramzan transmissions are a ‘blatant breach of government policy’ during COVID-19

Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has called Ramzan transmissions out not only for having problematic content but also for not following COVID-19 SOPs.

The model took to Instagram where she expressed her concern saying that while the government and public are trying their best to follow SOPs and limit their activities, the transmissions are allowing large people gatherings, which is threatening.

Urging the public to wear a mask, the actress explained how serious COVID is. She mentioned that the pandemic is at its peak and how horrible the third wave is. Amid all this, cricket leagues are being called-off and the countries in the subcontinent are going into a strict lockdown. However, Saheefa pointed out how the transmissions are filmed on sets with crews and staff as large 60 or 70 people where the environment is not secure as people are not quarantined. She further added that it is a ‘blatant breach’ of government policy.

Saheefa Jabbar after protesting against the Ramzan transmissions also gave a solution by saying that the airtime used by these shows can rather be used to spread awareness about COVID.
