The legendary Runa Laila makes her way into the Guinness Book of World Records

Runa Laila is a Bangladeshi singer and composer who started her career in Pakistan’s film industry in the late 60s. She is one of the best singers from South-Asia and has a record of singing songs in around 17 languages. She sang in all of these languages with a fluent, native accent, inspiring and pure talent.

Laila is also recognized in the Guinness world record, according to ‘Legends of Bangladesh,’ for recording 30 tracks in just a span of 3 days and setting a worldwide record. Bappi Lahiri is the curator of the soundtrack.

The Guinness World Record has, however, yet to declare the record of the singer online. Runa Laila is a prominent name in the industry, and her talent is second to none. Her most famous work includes Kala Shah Kala, Dum Mast Qalandar, and many more.
