Naimal Khawar Khan suggests 5 things you can do to look after your ‘mental health’

Mental health is equally as important as physical health however, majority Pakistanis fail to understand this. The pandemic and lockdown has been emotionally exhausting and too much for many and in these times, it is essential to have the discussion about mental health and wellbeing.

With May being the ‘mental health awareness’ month, actress Naimal Khawar thinks this is the perfect time to raise some awareness and give tips on ways in which one can take care of their mental health. The actress took to Instagram where she shared 5 ways in which one can care about their mental wellbeing.

Khawar suggested people to nourish their bodies. She believes that making time for things that make an individual happy can have a positive impact on their mental health. Moreover, the star recommended people to focus on themselves and to go out in the nature. Naimal thinks knowing one’s ‘self importance’ is also essential for an individual’s mental wellbeing.

She ended the post with a note for those who always prioritize others over themselves and keep their happiness on the last, especially the new mothers. Khan wants them to know they are important and gives a message to do what makes them feel their ‘best self.’
