In a recent interview with a well-reputed media outlet, actress Mehwish Hayat was questioned about Benazir Bhutto’s biopic. Hayat said that she has signed the deal to play the role.

The actress first revealed that she will be doing the role in an IG post, back in 2018. She received a lot of criticism for it.

Upon the host’s question, Hayat said that although she can not talk about it much, however, she can only tell that the project is under development. ‘Due to the magnitude of the project, it will take a little time.’ She further told that they are working on the script currently and then it will be sent for production.
