‘Maya the Myth’, the first-ever Pakistani Horror-film released on Amazon Prime

Maya the Myth, a movie based on real-life incidents as claimed by the filmmakers, has been released on Amazon Prime.

Maya the Myth revolves around the story of a young Hindu girl, Padmani, from Pakistan. The girl hears some horror voices from inside the walls of her room. The ghostly voices inside Padmani’s room ask her to sacrifice her unborn son.

The movie does look promising from the looks of the trailer.

The movie is produced by Faisal Junejo and directed by Shaquille Arslan Ali. The leading roles are played by Hadiya Khan, Faisal Junejo, and more.

In 2019, Minister Fawad Chaudhry discussed how Pakistani dramas had made a come-back with good content on his Twitter. He requested Netflix and Amazon to invest in the Pakistani content, assuring them about successful partnerships.
