The 33-year-old shared a video of the qawwal performing his famous qawwali ‘Saanson Ki Maala.’ She Tweeted that those who are ‘drenched’ in hate are unfamiliar with the beauty of Pakistan’s land.
She then talked about the impact of Indo-Pak’s combined histories on the world. The actress referred to the qawwali mentioning how he is reciting poems from examples put forth by Radha and Krishna.
The purpose of her post was to highlight a moral saying that love always wins. Hate and despise can never overcome the power of love.
Previously, Bhasker thanked Pakistan in a Tweet for their support to India during the Covid crisis. She shared a heart-warming note thanking every Pakistani for having a big heart. She believes it was big of the country to extend their help to India during the hard times.
The actress’s post met a lot of criticism and hate. The right-wing extremists were triggered and trolled her.
