Hania Amir has been a target of criticism for quite some days now over her viral video. After harsh and hateful comments by the public online, the actress shared an emotional video in which she can be seen crying.
Amir captioned the video expressing what she was feeling. She gave a reality check to the public talking about the misogynistic mindset people have. The star mentioned how it is okay for a man to belittle a woman but if a woman does the same, she receives hate. She further talked about the double standards of the society where a woman can not show affection to her loved ones but a man ‘ejaculating’ to a woman’s video or picture is not considered disgusting and is rather made viral.
Hania ended the note asking everyone to keep their goodness ‘intact’ because ‘someone else’s evil shouldn’t ruin your goodness.’
Many celebrities including Ayesha Omar, Areeba Habib and more showed a lot of love to Amir in the comments section.
Hania’s video is a glimpse of how online bullying can impact celebrities. Oftentimes, people don’t consider the feelings of these celebrities and feel it is absolutely okay to give them negative comments. However, this clip depicts how the stars also have sentiments and get depressed by all this.
