Armeena Khan’s short film selected by two international film festivals

Armeena Khan has achieved a new milestone after her short film was selected by two international film festivals.

Titled ‘Snapshot’, the film has been selected by the Gold Movie Awards and the Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival. Khan announced the news on social media. It was a collaborative work between actors from Turkey and Pakistan.

Cast and production

The director, producers, and writers of the film are from Pakistan. On the other hand, the co-actors, Ayhan Isik and Mert Kilic, and the music producer are from Turkey. The film is also Khan’s debut as a film producer.

The Gold Movie Awards are organized by a film festival that is based in London. The Los Angeles Lift-Off Festival is a creation of the Lift-Off Global Network. The organization’s aim is to promote the works of indie film creators from around the world.

Story

The story is about a Canadian girl who is unable to leave the capital of Turkey, Istanbul, due to pandemic restrictions. The story highlights the importance of friendships and platonic relationships.
