Amazing 5 Before & After Transformations in Pakistani Dramas

Along with the storyline, one thing that truly catches a viewer’s attention is the way a character dresses in a drama serial. And well, let’s just admit, a good makeover can really change the game of a character.

A perfect character isn’t entirely based upon the acting skills only. Makeover plays its prominent role as well, which is why many talented actors and actresses focus on their appearance because it is something that makes them relate to the given role.

In some dramas, the actresses go through physical changes as the story progresses, to better suit the present condition of the character they’re playing.

Below, we have come up with the best before and after makeovers in Pakistani dramas. These interesting yet amazing transformations will surprise you even if you haven’t followed the drama all along.

From Raani to Reena Begum

– Ushna Shah in Alif Allah aur Insaan

From a beggar with big dreams to a big film actress, Ushna played the role of Raani in the best way possible.

Ushna’s glow-up in the drama is the most stunning thing ever. The transformation journey shown in this serial is one of the best you will see in the Pakistani drama industry. From the actress’ body language to her appearance, everything went through a major change, which perfectly suited how the character’s state changed as the drama progressed.

Noori’s Rags to Riches journey

– Iqra Aziz in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi

Who isn’t aware of Ranjha Ranjha kardi? Because of its unique storyline and the amazing performance by talented actors such as Imran Ashraf and Iqra Aziz, the serial was a big hit.
Iqra’s role as Noori was a significant one. In her whole journey as a poor girl who wanted to do so much in life to unexpectedly getting married to Bhola, her attire went through major variations.

The before look of Noori was of a girl with curly hair who couldn’t afford decent clothing but then she goes through a mega change after her marriage.

From Shammo to Shimmy

– Imran Ashraf in Alif Allah aur Insaan

Imran Ashraf played the role of a transgender, Shammo who had a ‘success story’ in the drama. Shammo, who was a dancer and was bullied, became a successful ‘makeup artist’ who dressed up in the normal manly clothes and didn’t do makeup on himself.  Imran’s talent combined with his, makeover makes his character flawless in every way.

Asfandyaar, from a careless young boy to a sensible physician

– Ahad Raza Mir in Yaqeen ka Safar

Ahad Raza Mir’s character in Yaqeen ka Safar was shown at two different points. Initially, he was portrayed as someone with no maturity and no sense of responsibility whatsoever. However, after going through certain ups and downs in life, Ahad’s role changed to a sensible and decent individual who was really serious with his work. The makeover of the actor changed accordingly.

Naila, from a self-obsessed, proud girl to mentally ill and helpless

–  Hania Amir in Titli

Hania’s role in Titli was of a ruthless girl who was super proud of her looks. Due to her selfish attitude, she didn’t value the people around her.

The drama then changed the situation of Naila to helplessness. And from a really beautiful girl to someone who wasn’t mentally stable and in her senses, her looks changed in the best way possible. We cannot help but agree to the fact that a good effort has been done on her to make her role suit the specific situation she was in.
