Aamir Liaquat is always making rounds on the news, whether it’s for something he said or something he did. He’s had plenty of backlash throughout the years and somehow the cycle keeps repeating.
A couple of years ago the news of his second marriage broke out on social media. There was a lot of criticism following the reception and people accused him of not taking care of his family. His response was “A home is destroyed when there’s a divorce. I haven’t divorced anyone.” Also claiming that both of his families are happy.
There have been numerous tweets by his daughter that suggest otherwise but the situation seemed to have gotten clearer when his first wife Bushra started sending out some tweets that made it apparent that she wasn’t happy.
Well, a few years have passed things seem to be taking another turn.
Bushra – who used to go by “Bushra Aamir Liaquat” changed her name on twitter to her maiden name “Syeda Bushra Iqbal”
It’s common for women in Pakistan to take their husbands names when they get married. Commonly, a woman changing her name back to her maiden name suggests she’s trying to separate herself from her husband.
Bushra Iqbal is an Islamic scholar and from what we have seen, the woman has shown great patience in extremely trying times. Could this name change mean she’s finally had enough?
