K-P Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ghani said that they have proposed a legislation for the protection of children from any kind of abuse. This has been recommended in a report submitted on Tuesday by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Advocate General (AG) Shumail Butt to the parliamentary committee.
The committee stated that they would approach the federal government to relax its laws about public hangings.
If no relaxation is provided by the federal government then the members of the meeting will circulate a video recording on social media showing child abuse convicts being hanged openly, so that they can serve as examples to any who may dare to commit such a crime.
The KP assembly is definitely making history in completing this much-needed legislation in as comprehensive a manner, as possible.
The provincial government has recommended public execution for child abusers to a special parliamentary committee.
