A mother and four childrens bodies were found in Jhimpur, Thatta. The woman’s mother filed an FIR with the local police station and named 3 suspects. 1 of the suspects identified is a woman.
The woman’s husband had passed away earlier, leaving her with 4 children. They were 3,6,7 and 10 years old.
All 5 of them were found with visible marks of strangulation and had ropes tied around their necks. On the scene, the police noticed that they had a foul odour coming from their mouths – the odour smelled poisonous.
Later, a bottle of poison was found on the crime scene.
As of now, 2 of the three suspects named in the FIR have been arrested and moved to a secure location – confirmed Thatta SSP Dr Muhammad Imran Khan.
